Trevor Edwards is a Briton who was born in London almost sixty years ago. With a business and sporting mind from a young, Trevor studied business administration at the Baruch College and later did his masters in the same institution and course. Armed with business and life skills from his time spent in Jamaica while young, Trevor has advanced in his professional journey to leading A top athletic brand in charge of its brand management.
Trevor Edwards grew up alongside his three other children, his mother, who worked as a nurse, and his father, an accountant. They lived a modest life in Norbury until they relocated to Jamaica when he was hardly thirteen years. While in Kingston, Edwards learnt to perceive life differently and accept others’ perceptions, considering that they were the only English among many others. This acceptance helped Edwards integrate with other children, growing his interest in sports and academics, leading to his ability to learn several languages, including French and Latin.
After graduating from New York’s Baruch College and studying international marketing, Trevor Edwards’ first job was at Goldman Sachs. Progressively, he worked in different capacities until he started doing brand marketing with Colgate-Palmolive, further gaining experience that led to his appointment as A top athletic brand regional marketing manager.
Professionals consider Trevor Edwards a brilliant marketer, considering his honed skills and ability to get marketing objectives in place. However, he believes his mother’s wisdom as being a critical insight to his success. She trained him to like what he does, and he loves marketing, leading to all his marketing success.
