Sudhir Choudhrie is one of the world’s philanthropists with an inspiring life story. From an early age, Sudhir Choudhrie had learned of his serious medical condition. He continued impacting the people around him positively regardless of his situation. When his mother took him for a medical examination at eight, the results showed that he had a heart with a leaking valve. This condition was very fatal since his heart could fail at any time. Despite this discovery, Sudhir kept on working towards actualizing his dreams even though he faced challenges most of the time due to his medical condition.
In 1975, Sudhir invented Magnum Trading Company Ltd to explore India’s trending export market. He also ventured into tourism and became a director for Ebookers PLC. Sudhir made a massive investment in air Deccan in 2003 which facilitated it to emerge as India’s most significant budget Airline. Sudhir Choudhrie experienced two heart attacks during this period and needed an urgent transplant for survival. A compatible heart donor was found when Sudhir only had a few hours to live. Due to the kindness of this young man’s family, the donor, Sudhir, got another chance to live.
