Happy Joe’s will partner with the TBK Quad Cities Marathon. This, in order to host its annual Kids Micro Marathon from noon to 6pm on Saturday, September 24, at the Vibrant Arena (formerly TaxSlayer) on River Drive in Moline, Illinois.
As part of this partnership, Happy Joe’s graciously provides race gear for our registered participants, including t-shirts and medals for participants completing all six races. Feeling too old to run this year? The Kids Micro Marathon is perfect for kids to get out and be active while having fun. Kids can run a mile or two (depending on their age) and receive individualized encouragement from the Happy Joe’s Kids Micro Marathon staff, along with a medal for participation.
And, as a bonus, everyone who registers for the event will get a free Happy Joe’s Kids Micro Marathon swag bag filled with the following:
- Exclusive race shirt and hat
- Race bib
- Medals for all 6 races completed
- Free pizza after completing the Kids Micro Marathon

During the marathon, kids can keep themselves entertained with free activities, including face painting, inflatables, games, and other activities.
Happy Joe’s hip-hop dance group, Happy Joe’s Crew, will provide an exciting pre-race performance. Kids are encouraged to come in costume to the race since there will be a costume contest with prizes for the best costumes. In addition, local mascots (including Happy Joe’s mascot and Happy the Dog) will be there for kids to enjoy and take photos with.
